Alan Kagawa

Associate Attorney

After graduating with a degree in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2012, Alan Kagawa initially worked as an emergency medical technician and studied law while waiting for patients. He attended Whittier Law School and graduated magna cum laude in 2017. That year, he joined Tully & Weiss as a law clerk and was later promoted to an associate trial attorney. Throughout his time at Tully & Weiss, Alan has fought vigorously on behalf of clients facing wrongful charges and unthinkable allegations, including murder and sex crimes. He has successfully handled multiple cases as lead counsel where the client was facing life in prison. Some of his major victories include outright beating several murder charges, and negotiating credit for time-served or electronic monitoring dispositions on heavy sex cases.
