Zuly Perez, was born in Los Angeles, California. She moved to Salt Lake City, Utah as a child. In 2006, she graduated from Hunter High School in West Valley City, Utah. She eventually made her way back to California in 2010. She started her professional career in the corporate world with AT&T and PepsiCo, where she worked for several years. She eventually grew tired of corporate politics and decided to pursue a legal education. She attended John F. Kennedy University for her B.A. in Legal Studies and Paralegal Certification. In 2018, Zuly joined the Tully & Weiss team as an intern then progressed on to become a certified law clerk where she was able to appear in court and successfully argue and win many motions for clients. In 2019, after earning her BA in legal studies, she applied to Law School attending at night while continuing to work for Tully & Weiss during the day. In 2024, she graduated law school and passed the February 2025 California Bar Exam.
Zuly is also a fluent Spanish language speaker.
